Do I need Claude or ChatGPT to use Lodestar?

No. Lodestar is fully useful on its own as your operations command center. It includes its own built-in AI assistant — so if you don't use Claude or ChatGPT, you still get a full conversational experience backed by your real work context.

If you do use Claude, ChatGPT, or Claude Code, connect them via MCP and they gain read and action access to your full operating picture. Either way works.

Which AI assistants does it work with?

Anything that speaks MCP — Claude, ChatGPT, and Claude Code today, with more as the MCP ecosystem grows. Lodestar is model-agnostic by design: when a better model ships, your accumulated context only becomes more valuable.

Where does my data live, and who can see it?

Your data is yours. It is encrypted per user and stored in Lodestar's infrastructure. We never train models on it and never share it with third parties. You can run on your own model provider key (BYOK) on Plus and Pro plans so inference never touches Lodestar's shared model account.

What accounts can Lodestar connect to?

Gmail and Outlook for email and calendar; Google Drive, OneDrive, and SharePoint for files; Slack and Teams for messages. Everything is unified and organised by Organisation and Project.

How do token limits work?

Each plan includes monthly pools of AI task tokens (apps and automations) and AI chat tokens (the built-in assistant). The Solo plan uses fixed pools. Plus and Pro plans include higher pools and can add pay-as-you-go overage. With BYOK, usage is billed directly to your provider account.

How do I delete my account and data?

Go to Settings → Security → Delete account. This permanently removes all your data from Lodestar's servers within 30 days. You can export everything first from Settings → Security → Export data.

When does Lodestar launch?

Lodestar is in prerelease. Early access members get priority onboarding and launch pricing. Join the waitlist at getlodestar.ai/early-access and we'll reach out as spots open.
